Amanda Hunt, MOT, OTR
Hi, I'm Amanda Hunt. I started Thrive Divergence because I believe everyone deserves to feel confident and successful in their everyday lives. As an occupational therapist, I'm especially passionate about helping adults who feel different or who have struggled to fit in. I understand the challenges of feeling pressure to hide your true self or finding everyday tasks overwhelming.
At Thrive Divergence, we create a safe and supportive space where you can be yourself. We use a unique approach called occupational therapy (OT) to help you:
Manage your time and get organized
Feel more comfortable in social situations
Reduce stress and overwhelm
Find strategies that work for you to succeed at work or school
I combine my professional training with my own personal experiences to create a plan that's just right for you. We'll work together to find strategies that fit your unique needs and goals.
If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and feel empowered to live authentically, I'd love to connect with you.
Let's work together and thrive!

Education and Licensing: Occupational therapists (OTs) are required to have a master's degree or higher and be licensed, while practically anyone can call themselves an integrative coach, regardless of their background or training
Regulation: Occupational therapy is a regulated health profession with strict standards, while integrative coaching has less regulation and more variability in service quality.
-
Nope! We're here to support all neurodivergent individuals, whether you're self-diagnosed, formally diagnosed, or still exploring.
-
Our first appointment is designed to understand you fully. We'll discuss your concerns, goals, and how we can help, but it goes beyond a typical "chat." As occupational therapists, we conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your unique needs and strengths. This includes evaluating your physical, cognitive, and environmental factors to create a truly individualized plan for your journey towards thriving.
This in-depth assessment is what sets us apart. It allows us to:
Identify the root causes of your challenges: We go beyond addressing surface-level issues to understand the underlying factors impacting your daily life.
Develop a personalized plan: Your treatment plan will be tailored to your specific needs and goals, ensuring the most effective path toward progress.
Measure progress objectively: We use standardized assessments to track your progress and make adjustments as needed, ensuring you're always moving forward.
Think of it as a collaborative brainstorming session where we combine your expertise on your life with our clinical expertise to map out your journey towards thriving.
-
Yes! We accept FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) payments. While these payment methods are generally accepted for occupational therapy services, some states have limitations.
To find out if services may be eligible for FSA/HSA in your state, please contact us at info@thrivedivergence.com. We're happy to help you navigate this process!

Thrive Divergence is an out-of-network provider. This means we will not bill your insurance directly and payment is due at time of service. Upon request, we are happy to provide you with a detailed receipt called a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if they allow. We also accept FSA/HSA payments.
We offer a limited number of sliding fee scale slots. Reduced rate fees are $150 for initial evaluation and range $100-140 per follow-up session. For more information, please contact us.
